Boreas River and Nate Rush through Coniferous Forest

Nate and his canoe rapidly sailed down the Boreas River under the bridge along Northwoods Club Road where I took these pictures. Two miles later he turned onto the Hudson and eventually took out at our base in North River. The trip was five miles total, two miles on the Boreas River and three miles on the Hudson River.  The rain last night brought the Boreas River up to a runnable level. One has got to be in the right place at the right time to run the Boreas River.
